Efficient solution for GSL 6 line

Cooling tunnel GSL.03.A60 is designed to cool down the curd bar before glazing process or after glazing – in order to fix the shape of glazed curd bar. The length of the cooling tunnel may vary, according to the specification of the used glaze for coating. The cooling equipment is a part of glazed curd bars production line GSL 6.

Technical data:

  • cooling capacity – from 6000 to 12000 glazed curd bars in hour;
  • the movement speed of the belt – 2,5…5 m/min;
  • belt width – 350 mm;
  • the inside temperature – up to -16 °C;

Technological process

The cooling tunnel performs the following operations:

  • Accepts cheeses after the glazing process;
  • Cools down the cheese bars according to the set parameters for a set time to set the glaze layer on the cheese;
  • Transfers cheeses with the help of an accelerating conveyor to the distribution system, before the packaging process.
